I learned a lot from reading this book, and grateful as always to learn more about Archbishop Tutu. I thought this book would be too advanced (and wordy) for my 2 year old, but it has quickly become her favorite read. I want to purchase it for some of my grown up friends...such a beautiful life lesson. Now If I could get it autographed ;)

This book is absolutely gorgeous! As a South African living in the US, I really wanted to find a good selection of books relating to South Africa for my 6 year old daughter. This book does not disappoint! A++

love this book! My kids and I had originally read this at the library and I loved it so much it was one of the rare books actually bought for House Library.it was one of the best kids books I have read on forgiveness. & I think it could teach adults I know to about the importance of forgiveness. I would highly recommend it.

As you would expect from the author, this book is a peaceful, teaching story. It is a great lesson against bullying, both in how to handle the situation if you are the one being bullied and how to consider what might have caused the bully to act the way he does. I highly recommend it; very timely.

Powerful message about forgiveness and how to be in relationship with others! Beautiful illustrations! I have bought multiple copies for family and friends ages newborn to elementary school age.

A must read for all ages. Desmond Tutu is a gift to this troubled world.
