As a member of Diné (The People/Navajo)I must say after getting this deck, I had to laugh. I showed a Hopi friend of mine and she had the same reaction.This is the most mixed up batch of stereotypical Hollywood Indians illustrated in these depictions... Calling them NATIVE AMERICAN is a blanket generalisations of the 570 DIFFERENT tribes in North America.Very rarely would these tribes share the same deities, sacred depictions or religion beliefs for that matter.I understand some people have and interest in the Native/Indigenous cultures, spiritual healing, walking the path to enlightenment and sooth saying, and I GREATLY admire you all who wish to learn more, gain more insight, and share with those through cards.Trust me, there are better ways than this deck. THIS ISN'T WORTH YOUR PRECIOUS TIME.This deck to gives you an outsiders point of view of many indigenous cultures with extremely different language, beliefs, and ways if life into a large bag of misinformation..There are books out there that would explain how (depending) each tribes ways of telling fortunes or keeping you on a balanced path...

Very intense deck, very complex pictures, the artwork isn't spectacular it is very hand drawn. We are so used to seeing electronically generated pretty appealing designs on Tarot cards lately at first I did not like this deck but upon doing a reading and consulting the booklet that came with it it became an incredibly powerful reading and I could understand the artwork and the iconography associated with what each particular card meant in that reading this is not a deck for the faint of heart as it is not a pretty deck but it's full of history and spirituality and depth and is very good intuitively once you understand and have read the booklet on each of the cards meetings and study it it does require study. The magic behind this deck and the people that produced it have gotten their message clearly through and if you understand the red Road you understand the meaning behind this deck

I am a Native American person and I've enjoyed these cards for years. This is my second order of them. Be sure to order the book with this deck. Gonzalez includes a lot of historical meanings within the atmosphere of the card interpretations. Also, the art work on each card is very beautifully detailed. I highly recommend this card deck for beginners and people who are interested in Native American spiritual connections.

These are beautiful. I originally bought them for myself, along with the Star-Spider Speaks book, but felt like I needed to give them to my friend who is Native American. She also loves these cards and was really happy with receiving them as a gift.

VERY beautiful tarot deck. It's a secondary deck I keep around since some people seem more comfortable getting a reading when it's looked at as "Native American" over European (silly, but comfort is important when it comes to getting a good reading). The information within is beautiful and, being part Native American myself, I was impressed to find a solid unitarian deck that is respectful to the cultures from which it draws. The booklet contains some incredible and intimidating spreads and I look forward to trying them as I get to know the deck better. I'm not a personal fan of the art, but the rustic hand-drawn style appeals to most of the people who've seen my deck.

I ordered this in 2016. This mystical deck is packed with so much wisdom from Star Spider and Rattling Bear. it has deepened my spiritual connection to the natives and my ancestry. i "mistakenly" ordered the book first, which was great. it's not COMPLETE if you don't purchase the BOOK as well!

Another one of my favorite Author is Ellen Anderson, I absolutely love this series “ASPEN FALLS” I think I started with the first book in the series as a free one, and I was only in to it 2 chapters when I searched the Author and followed her, then bought the whole series. I became emotionally involved to the point that I was crying in certain parts and outraged in others. I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen with all the characters in the storyline, I really loved how she would have them interact with each other and the townspeople.Historically correct as much as possible, and each time you start a storyline they characters go through turmoil, and grapple with their faith, but you on the edge of your seat until you find out how they may or may not get through it.

I sampled the first book as it was on the freebie list and instead of buying each book separably I got this. I enjoyed each book and chose to review each book individually instead of here. Enjoy!

This was a great series couldnt put it down. It had so many awesome quest in the series, can't wait for the next one's to read.

Worth reading and following the series. wish there were more after aspen falls keep up with more. Heart warming series

Refreshing to read a 'clean' series of love, romance, family life and history. A good relaxing read at bed time.
