If you have been assigned the appropriate Text material that this book is keyed to, then I would HIGHLY recommend this book. I used this book for Property I. I agree with the other reviewers who said you don't have to open the textbook if you have this bad-boy (except maybe to maybe the textbook's table of contents), although you may want to get the case brief book from Aspen Publishers to backhand-slap recitation out of the way.Note: The official textbook is very good at explaining things, but this book is slightly better bc its more concise, breaks things down like an ample outline, and has a lot of examples as it goes through each topic. This book teaches the same policy-theories/historical background material that original textbook does, but quicker. This is a good thing bc history is not too critical for test purposes and policy theory doesn't have to be as dragged out as textbook made it.CON: Not too many practice problems. You may want to invest in practice exam/questions book, ESPECIALLY for the chapters on 'Freehold Estates' and 'Future Interests', which seriously apply to one another.(Advice: I was assigned the Dukiminier Text Book for PropertyI simply bought this book (keyed), an older edition of Dukeminier's official textbook, Aspen's (keyed) case-brief book, practice questions book, all totaling less then $80).
I just got this to help with my Property course which uses the corresponding casebook. I was hesitant to get the Kindle edition until I realized that I can read it on the computer. I've used it a couple of times so far and like reading it on the computer and being able to highlight. I cannot comment about the content yet, because I've just begun the course and I've never used an Emanuel Outline before. I loved that I got it at a discount at the beginning of the semester. Apparently many of the Kindle version supplements are discounted at the beginning of each semester, so keep an eye out.
Really really helpful if you have the book its keyed to.My property professor was awful and this book does a good job laying out the issues and why we read certain cases. I ended up using it a ton to write my own outline (because my class notes were worthless).For an 8-hour take home exam this came in so handy, thank god for the index.If its not keyed to your book it will probably be moderately helpful only.
It's helpful because it is keyed to DK. I'd be careful though. Some of the stuff in here seemed to be incorrect-- or at least did not completely match up to what my professor was saying in class.

Love this supplement for Property! It has really helped me with my reading and understanding from my casebook. I like the examples and the simple way they break down some of the more confusing issues. Glad I purchased it! Now if I could only get the information into my head by osmosis... I'd be great!
The substance of the case summaries are decent, but this book has way too many typos and poorly worded sentences.
