Bought this for installing the upper and lower torque mounts on a 04 Neon for a good friend, then whatever else comes up on the car. Even though I could have pulled it off without the manual, I wanted to know that i had the exact torque values on each engine mount and was glad I bought it and well worth the extra clams to get the book. There is also a "torque strut adjustment procedure" to follow before final tightening and torqueing on the strut mounts which is in the manual. Easy to do, but important as it tilts the engine properly. Now the Haynes will be good reference when needed on other repairs. I've had Haynes and Chilton manuals for differnt cars for DIY repairs and both are good, each with their own style differences. Regardless of the manual's brand, don't skip buying one of these to help you out. Having the manufacturer's torque values along with a fairly accurate to precisely accurate torque wrench are both important so you don't over tighten or under tighten bolts that are important to get right.

The seller shipped promptly, and it was the product I expected. Haynes isn't the best shop manuals, but it has all the info that the average home owner needs to understand their car better.

I started out fixing my first car at age 16, knowing nothing about mechanic work. I started out with a Chilton's but since then I have preferred Haynes as they don't try to cover so many vehicles in one book. Pretty much anyone with a positive attitude can follow the instructions step by step and do pretty well. Most recently, I changed a head gasket in 2 hours for $150, the garage wants upwards to $1000. Youtube makes a good supplement now too, videos on how to do anything.

Another quality Haynes manual. Everything you need for "shade-tree" mechanic work. I recommend this to anyone that does their own DIY work. If you have used other Haynes manuals, this stacks up to the rest.

I have use this one to repair a clutch cylinder system, the breaks and different seals and other parts of the front end to my 2004 neon 2.0I have a manual to every vehicle that I own so I can tell if its something I can so or if its something I need to take in and spend the money.

I'm not the biggest Fischler fan out there (he tends to write in empty platitudes), but this book is definitely worth checking out. Some of his rankings are kooky (Bucyk over Espo, Neely not in the top 20, saying that Tiny Thompson was the best goalie in Bruins history aside from Frankie Brimsek even though he rated both Gerry Cheevers and Ed Johnston ahead of Thompson), but that would be the case with any such list. It's a great generator for discussion, and the bios for each listed person have some neat anecdotes. There are no new revelations about Ray Bourque or Bobby Orr, but there's good information about some of the old timers like Bill Cowley, Cooney Weiland, and Frank Frederickson. Dr. Samaan practices cardiology full-time, caring for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. For the past six years, Texas Monthly magazine has named Dr. Samaan a “Texas Super Doctor.” She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and was listed as one of “America’s Top Physicians” by Consumers’ Research Council of America. Well organized, very easy to read, and a great reference. I learned a lot about the effects of stress, hormones, and relationships on the heart, as well as some interesting new information about diet and supplements. Really gave me a lot to think about. I also liked the fact that the book included sections specifically for men and women. Highly recommend!

Wonderful book to have read, especially since the author is alsomy heart doctor. I recommend this book for everyone to readas we age - to maintain healthy eating habits/diets....so we don'tacquire heart disease and other drastic health problems in our later years.

I cannot state enough about the importance of everyone to get ahold of this book and read it cover to cover. I picked this up in my local library when searching for heart care. I wish I could have been told to read this ten plus years ago (although it wasn't published but 3 years ago).My docs and three cardiologists (due to moves and changes in insurance) did not make it clear to me, like she does in no uncertain terms, the importance of a healthy diet, taking your meds regularly w/t fail, the correct way to take your BP at home, the importance of regular exercise , the plus/minuses of vitamins, supplements, etc. She gives the facts and the in-your-face statistics of why, and they are compelling.If you are over 50, please read this and DO what she recommends!
